1在医  药卫生、化妆品方面，可做皮肤的缓冲剂  、雪花膏的添加剂  ；

2在纺织、造纸工业中可作为维生素  的精制材料；

3在建筑业中，可用作混凝土的减水剂  ，降低水和水泥的比例，增强初期强度；

4在牙膏里增加葡萄糖酸  -δ-内酯，有助于消除牙垢；

5在洗涤中用也可防止洗涤时引起的斑点；在照像业可用作显影稳定剂  。
