4j32合金又称超因瓦(super-invar)合金。在－60～80℃温度范围内，其膨胀系数比4j36合金低，但低温组织稳定性较4j36合金差。该合金主要用于制造要求在环境温度变化范围内尺寸高度精密仪表零件。
4j32材料的技术标准 yb/t 5241-1993 《低膨胀合金4j32、4j36、4j38和4j40技术条件》。
在平均线膨胀系数达到标准规定条件下，允许镍含量偏离上表规定范围。
4j32热处理制度
标准规定的膨胀系数及低温组织稳定性的性能检验试样按下述方法加工和热处理：将半成品试样加热至840℃±10℃，保温1h，水淬，再将试样加工为成品试样，在315℃±10℃保温1h，随炉冷或空冷。
4j32应用概况与特殊要求
该合金是典型低膨胀合金，经航空工厂长期使用，性能稳定。主要用于制造在环境温度变化范围内尺寸高度精确的精密部件。在使用中应严格控制热处理工艺及加工工艺，根据使用温度应严格检验其组织稳定性。
4j32合金组织结构
合金按1.5规定的热处理制度处理后，再经-60℃冷速2h，不应出现马氏体组织。但当合金成分不当时，在常温或低温下将发生不同程度的奥氏体(γ)向针状马氏体(α)转变，相变时伴随着体积膨胀效应。合金的膨胀系数相应增高。影响合金低温组织稳定性的主要因素 是合金的化学成分。从fe-ni-co三元相图中可以看到，镍是稳定γ相的主要元素 。镍含量偏高有利于γ相的稳定。铜也是稳定合金组织的重要元素 。随合金总变形率增加，其组织越趋向稳定。合金成分偏析也可能造成局部区域的γ→α相变。此外，晶粒粗大也会促进γ→α相变。
